Balaya® can be mixed with fungicides, e.g. Flexity®, with herbicides, e.g. Biathlon® 4D, with insecticides, with growth regulators, e.g. Medax® Top and Prodax®.
Mode of action
The combination of F 500® (pyraclostrobin) and Revysol® (mefentrifluconazole) from the strobilurin (QoI) and azole (SBI) classes of active ingredients has made it possible to formulate a new high-quality broad-spectrum fungicide. As a combination product, Balaya® is characterized by a broad spectrum of activity against the most important fungal pathogens in wheat, barley, rye and triticale, and its uniquely mobile molecular structure means that Revysol® is also highly effective against mutated fungal strains. In the leaf, Revysol® is slowly released upwards from an active ingredient reservoir into the sap flow of the plants and thus protects areas that were not covered during application over a long period of time.F 500® sustainably inhibits spore germination, the formation of infection structures, mycelial growth and the sporulation of harmful fungi. The active ingredient is absorbed via the leaf and shows predominantly local systemic and translaminar activity.
With many fungicides, there is a general risk of the occurrence of fungal strains resistant to the active ingredient. Therefore, under particularly unfavorable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the product cannot be ruled out. The application rate recommended by BASF must be observed.
