Mode of action

Bellis® is a combination fungicide consisting of the active ingredients F 500 (pyraclostrobin) and boscalid. The combination of active ingredients prevents spore germination, the formation of germination tubes and reduces mycelium growth and spore formation. The best effect is achieved ® with preventive use .

The active ingredient F 500 is a fungicidal active ingredient from the group of strobilurins, which is absorbed by the treated parts of the plant and shows a local systemic and translaminar effect. This means that fungal stages that have settled in deeper tissue layers can also be recorded. In addition, the active ingredient is bound to the wax layer of the plant and forms depots ® there.

The active ingredient boscalid belongs to the active ingredient group of carboxamides. It prevents spore germination and has an inhibiting effect on the formation of germination tubes, mycelium growth and spore formation of fungal pathogens. Boscalid has a preventive effect, is absorbed through the leaf and displaced systemically acropetal in the plant.

With many fungicides, there is generally a risk of the occurrence of drug-resistant fungal strains. Under particularly unfavourable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the remedy cannot therefore be ruled out. The application rates, spraying intervals and the maximum number of applications recommended by BASF must be adhered to at all times.
