Compatibility

Cantus Ultra^® proved to be very well tolerated by plants in the recommended application rate in all crops tested.

Miscibility

Cantus Ultra^® is miscible with insecticides and micronutrient fertilizers.
In combination with pyrethroids, the tank mixture retains the B4 classification of insecticides.
Mixtures must be applied immediately.

Mixtures with foliar fertilisers (brand quality) are usually possible. Due to the large number of foliar fertiliser products, no liability can be assumed with regard to compatibility and miscibility.

In tank mixtures, the areas of application and application regulations for the mixing partner determined and approved by the approval authority must be observed.

Mode of action

Cantus Ultra^® consists of the two active ingredients boscalid and F 500 (pyraclostrobin). After application to the plant, boscalid is absorbed via the leaf and displaced systemically acropetal in the plant. Boscalid prevents spore germination and has an inhibiting effect on germination tube formation, mycelium growth and sporulation of fungal pathogens. F 500 is absorbed via the leaf and shows predominantly local systemic and translaminar activity. In small quantities, the active ingredient is displaced in the plant with the sap flow. F 500 is effective against fungal stages in and especially on the plant. The active ingredient sustainably inhibits spore germination, formation of infection structures, mycelium growth and sporulation of harmful fungi.^®®®

Cantus Ultra^® is characterized by a very good effect against white stem (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) and rapeseed blackness (Alternaria species) on oilseed rape. Both active ingredients combined offer reliable protection even against late infection events due to their excellent long-term effect. With many fungicides, there is generally a risk of the occurrence of drug-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavourable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the remedy cannot be ruled out. The application rates, spraying intervals and maximum number of applications recommended by BASF must be adhered to at all times.
