Collis® is very well tolerated by plants in the recommended application rate in all tested grape varieties.
Miscibility
Collis® is miscible with Cantus®, Delan Pro®, Delan WG®, Kumulus WG®, Scala®, Vivando®, Enervin SC® and Sercadis®. In tank mixtures, the areas of application and application regulations for the mixing partner determined and approved by the approval authority must be observed.
Mode of action
Collis® is a combination fungicide of the active ingredients boscalid and cresoximmethyl. The two active ingredients complement each other in their effect against oidium by preventing spore germination, reducing mycelium growth and sporulation. The best effects are achieved with preventive use.
The active ingredient boscalid is partially absorbed into the plant and systemically displaced in the tissue. The active ingredient cresoxim-methyl forms active ingredient depots that are firmly bound to the wax layer. Over a long period of time, the active ingredient is continuously released from these active ingredient depots and distributed on the plant surface via diffusion processes.
Due to two different biochemical mechanisms of action against powdery mildew and due to the different way in which the active ingredient is distributed, Collis® provide excellent, long-lasting and safe protection both on the surface of the plant and in the plant. In addition, the combination of two different active ingredient groups in the product ensures active resistance management.
With many fungicides, there is generally a risk of the occurrence of drug-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavourable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the remedy cannot be ruled out. The application rates, spraying intervals and maximum number of applications recommended by BASF must be adhered to at all times.
