Mode of action
As a combination product, Diadem® is characterized by a broad spectrum of activity against the most important fungal pathogens in sugar beet and for controlling leaf and ear diseases in wheat, barley, rye and triticale.
The combination of fluxapyroxad and mefentrifluconazole from the active ingredient classes of carboxamides (SDHI) and azoles (SBI) ensures the broadest effect with the highest efficacy levels.
With many fungicides, there is a general risk of the occurrence of active ingredient-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavorable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the product cannot be ruled out. The application rate recommended by BASF must be observed.
At the same time, both active ingredients are not cross-resistant to each other and are very well balanced in their biological performance against the pests. This combination therefore ensures very good resistance management already in the product.
