Mode of action
Forum® contains dimethomorph (DMM), an active ingredient that interferes with cell wall formation in many stages of the development of downy mildew fungi. DMM not only has a long-lasting contact effect, but also penetrates deep into the treated parts of the plant and spreads there (deep-acting, local systemic). This allows the fungus to be detected even in early development phases after infection (2-1 days). A particularly lasting effect is achieved by the antisporulating effect, which interrupts the reproduction cycle of the pathogens and suppresses further spread of spores in the plant. Overall, Forum® such a weather-independent, sustainable protection. Forum® is gentle on predatory mites and is suitable for integrated and environmentally friendly hop and vegetable cultivation.
