Mode of action
Bellis® is a combination fungicide of the active ingredients F 500 (pyraclostrobin) and boscalid. The combination of active ingredients prevents spore germination, germination tube formation and reduces mycelium growth and sporulation. The best effects are achieved with preventive use. ®
The active ingredient F 500 is a fungicidal active ingredient from the group of strobilurins, which is absorbed by the treated parts of the plant and shows local systemic and translaminar activity. This means that fungal stages that have established themselves in deeper tissue layers can also be detected. In addition, the active ingredient is bound to the wax layer of the plant and forms depots there. ®
The active ingredient boscalid belongs to the active ingredient group of carboxamides. It prevents spore germination and has an inhibiting effect on germination tube formation, mycelium growth and sporulation of fungal pathogens. Boscalid has a preventive effect, is absorbed through the leaf and displaced systemically acropetal in the plant.
With many fungicides, there is generally a risk of the occurrence of drug-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavourable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the remedy cannot be ruled out. The application rates, spraying intervals and maximum number of applications recommended by BASF must be adhered to at all times.
