Mode of action
Cantus® prevents spore germination and has an inhibitory effect on germination tube formation, mycelium growth and sporulation of fungal pathogens. The product has a preventive effect and is absorbed via the leaf after application to the plant and displaced systemically acropetal in the plant.
With many fungicides, there is generally a risk of the occurrence of drug-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavourable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the remedy cannot be ruled out. The application rates, spraying intervals and maximum number of applications recommended by BASF must be adhered to at all times.
