Cuproxat®
Fast and long-lasting protection against downy mildew on vines
Description
Mode of action
Cuproxat® combines the advantages of fast-acting copper hydroxide and the depot effect of copper sulphate and thus offers optimum protection against Peronospora. The optimized particle size of the copper ensures a gapless coating on the plant and leads to a better release of the copper ions on the plant surface. In addition, the resistance to rain is significantly improved by an sticky coating.
The cop per ions in Cuproxat® have a toxic effect on the fungal cells on contact and lead to a blockage of various enzyme reactions of the germinating spores. The special feature is that the copper ions are released in two stages, which means that in addition to the immediate effect, there is also a depot effect. Cuproxat® also mixes well with most products and is particularly well tolerated by plants even in hot and dry conditions.

TIP
Under hot and dry weather conditions, the vine is under stress, which is why it is important to apply the product in a way that is particularly gentle on the plants. Cuproxat® also guarantees a particular ly plant-friendly copper treatment in this case. To keep the copper coating on the plant even longer during periods of heavy rainfall, we recommend adding Zentero® SPR (see p. 121-123).
