General information
Name | Delan® Pro |
---|---|
Formulation | Suspension concentrate (SC) |
Active ingredients | 125 g/l dithianon, 561 g/l potassium phosphonate (potassium phosphite) |
Compatibility
Delan® Pro is well tolerated in vines at the recommended application rate.
Miscibility
Delan® Pro is miscible with the plant protection products approved for use in viticulture. In vines, do not apply Delan® Pro together with EC-formulated products in the Trollinger variety after flowering. Mixtures with foliar fertilizers (brand quality) are generally possible. Due to the large number of foliar fertilizer products, no liability can be accepted with regard to compatibility and miscibility. Take care when mixing with products containing carbonate and bicarbonate. Carbon dioxide and/or foam may be generated. In tank mixtures, the areas of application and application regulations for the mixing partner specified and approved by the approval authority must be observed
Mode of action
Delan® Pro is a combination fungicide and combines the mechanisms of action of dithianon and potassium phosphonates. Dithianon has a preventive effect and prevents spore germination. The active ingredient adheres stably and evenly to the plant and ensures a reliable contact effect. Dithianon influences the complex effect of various enzymes and thiol-containing proteins of fungal pathogens and is an important component in the anti-resistance strategy. Potassium phosphonate, with the biologically active phosphonate ion, is rapidly absorbed into the plant, is very mobile and is distributed systemically into the upper plant organs (acropetal). The mode of action has not yet been fully clarified. The effectiveness against fungal pathogens is presumably based both on the induction of the plant’s own resistance and on a direct fungicidal effect.
