Faban® is very well tolerated by plants in all types and varieties of pome fruit.

Faban® can be mixed with Delan® WG, Bellis®, Kumulus® WG, Scala®, Regalis® Plus, Sercadis® and with the fertilizer Fetrilon®2-Combi.

Faban® is a combination preparation of the active ingredients dithianon and pyrimethanil for preventive use that inhibits spore germination, infection and early stages of mycelium development. Dithianon is a proven multisite fungicide from the anthraquinone group of substances, which has a high preventive contact effect against scab species. Pyrimethanil inhibits the amino acid synthesis of the harmful fungi and has a translaminar preventive and curative effect on and above all in the leaf tissue. The novel formulation promotes the rapid uptake of pyrimethanil and minimizes losses through evaporation. Active ingredient deposits adhere stably and evenly to the plants and form a rainproof spray coating. These active ingredient depots are repeatedly activated by rainfall and dew and ensure a safe and long-lasting effect.
