When using Meltatox® however, depending on the variety and cultivation method, damage to the crop to be treated cannot be ruled out. Before using the plant protection product, the plant compatibility must therefore be tested under farm-specific conditions.
Miscibility
Meltatox® is good with Collis® miscible. This results in a very effective combination of the curative effect of the Meltatox® with the protection of the new offspring by Collis®. Mixing recommendation for summer applications (minimum 1500 l water/ha): 0.1% Collis® + 0.15% Meltatox® Mixing recommendation for the winter (minimum 1500 l water/ha): 0.1% Collis® + 0.1% Meltatox®
We are not liable for negative effects of tank mixtures that are not recommended by us. In tank mixtures, the areas of application and application regulations for the mixing partner determined and approved by the approval authority must be observed.
Mode of action
Meltatox® contains the active ingredient dodemorph. The mechanism of action of Dodemorph is based on the inhibition of ergosterol biosynthesis. Ergosterol is a lipid found in the cell membrane of phytopathogenic fungi. The active ingredient selectively inhibits the formation of this lipid. This creates deformed cell membranes and prevents the growth of the fungus.
Meltatox® has a strong preventive and curative effect against powdery mildew on roses. Meltatox® penetrates quickly into the leaf tissue, which ensures rapid rain resistance. The active ingredient dodemorph is distributed locally systemically within the leaf tissue, but not translaminarly. Therefore, it is important to also wet the underside of the leaves well for control.
