Mode of action
Revytrex®, the first combination product with the new active ingredient Revysol® (mefentrifluconazole) from the DMI fungicide class and Xemium® (fluxapyroxad) from the SDHI fungicide class, reliably controls all important fungal pathogens in cereals. Thanks to its uniquely mobile molecular structure, Revysol® is also highly effective against mutated fungal strains. In combination with a formulation optimally adapted to the active ingredient, Revtrex® offers an excellent curative effect on infections that have already occurred. The rapid uptake into the leaf interior ensures an immediate effect and also provides reliable protection against losses due to weather influences such as rain and sunlight. Revysol® is slowly released upwards from a reservoir of active ingredient in the leaf into the sap flow of the plants and thus also protects the areas that were not covered during application over a long period of time. Xemium® ensures the broadest effect with the highest efficacy thanks to a further mechanism of action. Revytrex® sets new standards in the control of fungal diseases in cereals, particularly Septoria leaf blight, rust diseases and Ramularia leaf blight. With many fungicides, there is a general risk of the occurrence of active substance-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavorable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the product cannot be ruled out. The application rate recommended by BASF must be strictly adhered to.
