Mode of action
Signum® is a combination fungicide consisting of the active ingredients F 500® (pyraclostrobin) and boscalid. The combination of active ingredients prevents spore germination, germ tube formation and reduces mycelium growth and sporulation. The best effects are achieved with preventive use. The active ingredient F 500® is a fungicidal active ingredient from the strobilurin group, which is absorbed by the treated plant parts and shows local systemic and translaminar activity. This means that fungal stages that have established themselves in deeper layers of tissue can also be detected. The active ingredient boscalid prevents spore germination and has an inhibitory effect on germ tube formation, mycelial growth and sporulation of the fungal pathogens. boscalid has a preventive effect, is absorbed via the leaf and is systemically translocated acropetally in the plant. With many fungicides, there is a general risk of the occurrence of active substance-resistant fungal strains. Therefore, under particularly unfavorable conditions, a change in the effectiveness of the product cannot be ruled out, and the application rates, spraying intervals and maximum number of applications recommended by BASF must be strictly adhered to.
